2025 RISING SOPHOMORE SQUAD

MSFHCA is recognizing a group of "rising" sophomores annually. 

These sophomores have been nominated by their coach and selected by the MSFHCA because of how quickly they have made an impact on their program.  They are highly skilled players that have, regardless of position, played significant roles on their Varsity team this year.

CRITERIA - 

~ A coach must be current 2025-26 MSFHCA member 

~ A coach can nominate up to 4 current sophomore players

~ 75% of varsity minutes (Out of 60 min game= 45 minutes)

~ Good Academic Standing

~ Good Leadership Qualities

~ Players must possess high skills in the following areas: 

   * Ball Control

   * Passing Skills

   * Vision of field - changing point of attack

   * 1v1 skills

   * Ability to tackle cleanly (jab/block)

   * Being able to gain possession and then distribute the ball.
